"Where did you send him to, Columbo?" asked Grucci after the whole ordeal had been sorted.
"I'd like to tell you it's as bad as hell," he replied, referring to the Columbo Dimension. "It's worse."

The paperwork the Lieutenant had to file after he sent someone to a place worse than hell was absurd, but justified. Given the circumstances, he was ruled to be in the right.

The artifacts were returned to their rightful owners, save for the briefcase. When the police department searched for the green-haired man, they could not find him anywhere, even though he should have stuck out like a sore thumb. Within the pages of his notebook, though, they found a number of clues to his whereabouts, his identity, even his origins... but that's a story for another time.
